May 7-8th, Daniel Stowe offers free admission for all mothers and the first 250 moms will receive a free potted plant! Music, carriage rides, family lawn games food and snacks, and a five-station Wine Walk will be included in this fun, family opportunity.

Live Rock and Bluegrass bands and shopping at vendor exhibits will give moms a wonderful and delicious day to remember!
Wing Haven Gardens 22nd GARDENER’S GARDEN TOUR will be May7-8th! Enjoy touring five private gardens as well as strolling the beautiful Wing Haven. Live music presented by Community School of the Arts will add a musical beauty to the gardens!
The MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL will be at South Piedmont Community College on May 6-7th. Arts and dancing demonstrations, crafts, and a soccer game are just a few of the many fun activities!
Running moms will enjoy the Hunstad Kortesis MOTHER’S DAY 5K in the Southpark area. The entire family is welcome to enjoy the 5k, kids activities and community spirit. The fun run begins at Symphony Park!
Moms with a heart for pups can fulfill their need for cuddling canines at TAILS OF THE TRAIL-MOTHER’S DAY HIKE with shelter dogs from the Humane Society. On May 8th moms and families can do their part to reduce euthanasia rates by socializing and hiking homeless hounds. A 2-3 mile hike along the scenic Catawba River will meet at Sheba’s Doggy Day Camp for a bus ride to the hiking destination.
SOUL OF THE SOUTH UPTOWN FOOD TOUR is a sampling, sipping stroll through some Southern Uptown favorite restaurants. Participants will hear from chefs and restaurant owners about the delicious influence of Southern Heritage in their cuisine. On May 6TH!
Music outdoors has a special enjoyment all its own! Several locations throughout Charlotte offer outdoor music free to the public. Enjoy SUNSET at the METROPOLITAN 2016 SPRING MUSIC SERIES !Every Thursday in May welcomes shoppers and families to enjoy a variety of musical genre and special features offered by restaurants and retailers.
WHITEWATER RIVER JAM will begin at the U.S. National Whitewater Center on May 5th! Free concerts take place every Thursday and Saturday through the end of September. The music will be 7-10pm and food, drinks and craft beers will be available.
BLAKENEY’S SUMMER CONCERT SERIES is at the charming and convenient Blakeney Shopping Center in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte. This free series offers outdoor music in a large, green area with picnic tables. Many people bring their own lawn chairs and picnics to enjoy, or pick up something delicious at the many restaurants surrounding the green area. Fridays and Saturdays through August, 7-10pm.
STONECREST SUMMER CONCERT SERIES is in full swing every Friday and Saturday, 7-10pm through October. This popular venue is free and can find you relaxing by fountains, tapping your toes while the little ones dance about!
Sunshine on Mother’s Day couldn’t be finer in Carolina than at the WELLS FARGO CHAMPIONSHIP! All attendees are asked to wear pink in honor of mom! Mother’s Day sunrise service will be 7:00 am on the 18th hole. Tee times approximately at 8:00am.
