South Charlotte is ringing in the New Year with food, fun and festivities!
Cosmos Café at 8490 Rea road, Village at Robinson Farm, Ballantyne is offering a fun Masquerade New Year’s! A four-course menu, midnight balloon drop and champagne toast will be included in the festivities.
Bradshaw Social House, also located in Ballantyne at the Village at Robinson Farm, will be offering New Year’s casualness with live music and a champagne toast.
The Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge is having a New Year’s Party starting at 9pm with a live DJ, dancing, party favors and champagne toast. The Gallery Restaurant will be offering a special New Years Day menu.
Villa Antonio in Ballantyne Village is hosting its annual New Year’s Eve party! Dinner seating starts at 4:30 with piano music beginning at 6:30 and DJ at 10:30.
SouthPark’s Upscale New Year’s Eve Party will be at City Tavern. Enjoy an appetizer buffet, outdoor fire pits, live DJ, private rooms and table service. Dinner reservations begin at 4pm and the party starts at 10pm.
Baku Japanese Restaurant and Lounge is having a NYE Soiree! The celebration will feature a special 12-taste chefs menu, music with DJ Ryan Crawford, a live saxophonist, dancing and more.
Dilworth Neighborhood Grille is having its 10th Annual NYE Party 9pm to 1am! Admission includes drinks and two buffets. Music will be from DJ DNIncredible G and Master C. Party favors and champagne toast at midnight.
Nan and Byron’s New Year’s Eve Dec. 31, 10 p.m. features an open bar and buffet, music from DJ Clay Hefner, party favors, a live countdown of the ball drop, and a champagne toast at midnight. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Levine Children’s Hospital’s Give Here For Kids Here program
Venturing out of fun South Charlotte (for just a little bit )to include a traditional Uptown experience is easy with the Lynx line! Charlotte Area Transit System officials said extra Lynx Blue Line trains will run through 1:30 a.m. Buses will run on their weekday schedule, with select routes leaving the Charlotte Transportation Center at 1:30 a.m. First Night Charlotte will be 10 p.m. to Midnight. Romare Bearden Park First Night is the Charlotte’s “official” celebration. It’s an alcohol-free, family-friendly, cultural celebration in Uptown Charlotte. Artists, dancers, comedians, musicians and magicians will take to the streets and venues to enjoy. If midnight is too late for the younger ones in your family, there’s a kid’s countdown earlier in the day. First Night Charlotte for Kids is 1 to 6 p.m. at Romare Bearden Park .
